Texture Study #1: Dishrack
Part of an ongoing study of performance-driven texture-based form, the dishrack’s form is a result of two design priorities:
1) ensuring that there are no flat or concave water-trapping surfaces
2) ensuring that every item in my kitchen would have a place
The dishrack was milled from a solid piece of mahogany and oiled for water resistance.
